Around the world in an electric vehicle in 80 days

Official World Record certifies that the 80eDays 2016 challenge (ELDURO) completed a round-the-world trip in 100% electric vehicles in 80 days, from June 16 to September 4, 2016.

During this journey, participants covered more than 28,000 km across 20 countries and 3 continents.

This world record was jointly established by 10 international teams, led and driven by Rafael de Mestre as organizer and participant. A historic milestone that remained unbeaten for 10 years. This achievement is officially recognized as a world record by Official World Record, highlighting the extraordinary feat of electric mobility, international collaboration, and endurance.
