The most consecutive hours dancing Ball de Bastons (Traditional Catalan Stick Dance)

On May 9 and 10, 2025, in Barbera del Valles, Barcelona, a New World Record was set. The famous and historic Catalan folk dance “Ball de Bastons” was danced for 24 hours without interruption.

Ladies and Gentelmen!!! Woooww!!! La Colla Bastonera Les Romanes i la Associaciò Ara i Sempre, de Barberà del Vallès, Barcelona, Catalunya, have just broken two New World Records!!
The two New World Records are:
“The most consecutive hours dancing Ball de Bastons (Traditional Catalan Stick Dance)” and “The most consecutive repetitions of a single Ball de Bastons choreography”

After an incredible 25-hour effort, they have achieved it!!! Congratulations!!!!
