Toothbrush with the most tightly implanted tapered bristles

Linko Innovation Co., Ltd. (Chief Executive Officer KO, CHEOL JOO) has developed a toothbrush whose tapered bristle’s bottom part and upper part is 0.12 mm and less than 0.01 mm thick, respectively. This toothbrush also has 8,801 tapered bristles that are 11 mm long, which were implanted in a 12.35 × 27.50 mm brush head using thermal fusion to achieve soft brushing effect and to ensure thorough cleansing of teeth. Through this, I was able to minimize the thickness of the tapered bristles so that we can implant them as well as produce diverse bundle sizes and shapes,” he said about the background of the toothbrush’s development.“Toothbrushes usually have about 1,000–3,000 tapered bristles. However, with a total of 8,801 tapered bristles, this toothbrush has about 3–8 more thin tapered bristles, which are tightly implanted. It is, therefore, a new-concept and a new-level toothbrush that gently yet meticulously brushes the teeth. The technology of implanting 8,801 tapered bristles into a small brush head that is 12.35 mm wide and 27.50 mm long is amazing. It also means that 8,801 tapered bristles brush the teeth, which is also great. If one were to connect all the 8,801 tapered bristles, which are 11 mm long, they would have a total length of more than 100 m.
